1. Who We Are
Christ Gospel Mission Int. ("we", "our", "us") operates the CGMINT Gospel Hymnal mobile application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the App.
2. Information We Collect
We do not collect, transmit, or store any personally identifiable information on our servers. The App stores the following data locally on your device only: • Favourite hymns you have saved (via AsyncStorage) • Hymn audio files you have downloaded for offline playback • A one-time consent flag confirming you have read these policies None of this data ever leaves your device.
3. Audio Streaming
When you stream a hymn tune, an audio file is fetched from our secure cloud storage (Supabase). Your IP address may be visible to our cloud provider as part of normal internet traffic. We do not log or retain these requests.
4. Third-Party Services
The App is built with Expo / React Native. Expo may collect anonymous crash and usage analytics as part of its platform services. Please review Expo's privacy policy at expo.dev/privacy for details. We do not integrate advertising SDKs, analytics trackers, or social login.
5. Children's Privacy
The App is suitable for all ages and is intended for use in worship settings including by children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children under the age of 13 (COPPA) or 16 (GDPR).
6. Permissions
The App may request the following device permissions: • Network access — to stream hymn audio files • Storage / File access — to save downloaded audio files offline No microphone, camera, contacts, or location permission is required or requested.
7. Data Security
All data is stored locally using React Native's AsyncStorage and the Expo FileSystem API, both of which use the platform's standard sandboxed storage. We use HTTPS for all network requests to ensure data in transit is encrypted.
8. Your Rights
Because we hold no personal data on our servers, there is nothing to request deletion of from us. To remove all locally stored data, simply uninstall the App or clear the App's data in your device settings (Settings → Apps → CGMINT Hymnal → Clear Data).
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the App with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
